The End of Semester

The end of this semester is coming soon, very very soon but all my stuffs have not been settled yet. Damn busy with assignments especially the final year project. I'm still struggling with my chapter 2 and chapter 3 should start soon. I wanted to the best and not just simply doing it for the sake of doing it. I will do my best and hopefully Dr. Chu my supervisor would be satisfied. I hate when time is pushing me but this is the world. Welcome to the real world. I guess I will hand him chapter 2 and 3 by next week. Can I make it? Of course I can. Who Am I? I'm Zaraki Kenpachi & nothing is impossible.

TMT 1013 has meet its end today - boring class but is an 'A' class. Tutorial on Saturday but sorry I have Internet marketing class to attend.

EBM 3013 still have class next Tuesday (13/10/09) & we need to prepare to present the scenarios for the project - My boss will be back on Sunday & can we make it on Tuesday (10% success rate). Again marketing is about making impossible possible. We can turn dead into live - power of Marketing

EBP 3013 have the last two class soon. This Saturday (10/10/09) would be our team to present on our mega project - 5 marks for presentation & there is a final class on the (13/10/09) where a special guest will come to give a talk. For those who desperate for participation - This is your last chance (This semester is a challenge as only 10 class compared to last sem 13 or 14)

EBP 3073 is very uncertain. Blur all the time but due to good relationship with the lecturer, I aspect the most less effort subject to get an 'A'

EBP 3023 is dead. The carry marks has out and I only score 40/60. Based on my past history and commitment. It's over for me. No need to hope much. 'B' is the target. What to do? That's my limit. I have the tips dor final but how reliable - dunno and is a gamble. Higher risk higher return. Is do or die. I would not repeat my mistakes twice.

Dr. K's Strategic Management Special Workshop

Today, (8/10/09) Dr. K would be having a workshop regarding the food & beverage outlet research.

The place would be at DK1 (east campus) from 7pm to 9pm

Attendance is not compulsory is your own initiative to seek help from Dr. K regarding the project. Do note that you might impress him and gain good grades - Show him your value

Remember to prepare questions and your project before seeing him. Going there empty handed will cause dissatisfaction to him. He said that, better don't come if come unprepared.

You are NOT Welcomed here !!!

Anyways, if the attendance is low, you might find him in his room. Please take note and don't blame Dr K if you do not find him there at DK1.

And, finally if you are going to ask him about your project, better do it today than next week or time nearer to the dateline. He dislikes that & will not entertain you.

Do you know what is this?
This is the bloody collage activity book.
Unless you do not want to stay in collage anymore,
You can always throw it into the drain.

Please take notice that, this bloody book can be hand in to the office and do not go back without handing in the book. You might be blacklisted and lose your place to stay next semester. Idiots are dealing with the book. Thus do no put much expectation and always prepare for emergency. Eg. Book Lost (Buku Hilang)

• Ensure it is hand up before the dateline. Usually a one day before dateline notice would be out to kill all residents. Thus, do not ever rely on JPK's for notice.

• Please do not confused with your gender. A guy's book which misplaced in the girl's side will automatically blacklisted - no joke !!!

• Have at least 75% of the required cops for activity to be safe. Bull crap this semester need 10 cops due to the inflation of the market. 100% increase from last semester (5 cops to 10 cops) This is due to the new policy by new collage principle.

PMT - Predetermined Meeting Time

This is a new term that learn yesterday from Uncyclopedia where is referring to Malaysian time zone which I totally agree with. Malaysian have PMT +1 & +2 depending to geographical locations.

What is PMT?

PMT is Predetermined Meeting Time which shows the time of a meeting attended. PMT +1 & +2 means that, Malaysian follows the time zone whereby meeting were attended late 1 or 2 hours from the actual meeting time. Just being exposed to this term, I was able to experience it today.

Lol? But is true, how? This morning, my boss wake me up at 8am for going to do an interview with the boss of Chicago 7 at 9am. What the hell? I was shock & not prepared at all. No choice, cause both boss were busy and if we do not do this interview, the whole group will die. Thus, I rush myself and luckily we manage to meet the owner of Chicago 7 on time - PMT haha +1 & +2 but not plus 1 or 2 hours nor minutes.

We meet & interview the manager at 9.15am. OMG. I hate it but what to do. I'm born as a bloody Malaysian. Stuck in here and have to follow the PMT +1 & +2 system.

Business Strategy - Good or Bad ???

Hi, I'm back - It is sure a harsh weekend for me - with all the comments of dissatisfaction, but is non of my concern - "Orang Lain mati, Dia Punya Pasal" la but of course not to my friends. Anyways, enough of cock talking and this is the story.

Last Saturday, I went to The Spring for a nice dinner to reward & relax myself - & I get a good dinner at Kim Bay.

When I was about to pay my parking ticket, I found a very shocking news which is the change of the parking rate which is shown as below.

I know where to park during weekdays ^^

From the implication of the new price rate, The Spring would have rake more profit from the new car-park at outdoor (last time free, now RM1 per entry) & the price increase for basement parking during weekdays (last time RM1 per entry, now RM2 per entry - 100% increase). But seems like the forgot the effect of this change of price.

In my opinion, this is a very bad strategy, why?

• If want to increase the price, all must increase together with the same rate. This means that the weekend & public holiday rate should not be generalize with the weekdays rate. This will only discourage people to come on weekdays but come only weekend - as the locals are damn kiasu to lose (kedekut). I believe that, if they separate it people will still come as people here is very high purchasing de (according to my theory) which explains they must at least go there once a week to spend. And this create a win-win situation where the consumer would not feel cheated to go on weekdays & The Spring can rake even more profit.
  

• Besides that, the capacity of The Spring will not be fully utilized. The crowd would appear more weekend compared to weekdays & this shift of trends does not benefits The Spring. Weekend there would be more traffic & weekdays will be much lower - this would definitely affect the weekdays revenue of tenants in The Spring. The Spring should encourage people to come more on weekdays as it is the best time to serve them. Weekends does not need too much marketing on as people would be highly motivated to go - relaxing, enjoyment, family, sales, etc. Thus the rate would be best maintained at weekdays.

Don't you guys agree? Haha, now I cannot park at The Spring during my weekdays movie, but is ok. I already found a better place to park (free) & save my petrol cost also. Where? No need la. Orang Sarawak high purchasing power. XD & this is my competitive advantages. (^.^)

Monday - Thursday
Outdoor - RM1 per entry
Basement - RM1 per entry
Premium - RM2 per entry

Fri, Sat, Sun & Public Holiday
Outdoor - RM1 per entry
Basement -RM2 per entry
Premium - RM3 per entry

It seems cheaper for weekdays but will sure motivate the public to come & when they perceived cheap, price could be changed again - refer to AirAsia's Strategies
